Korean Flipper

Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

These terms are an agreement between you and [YOUR NAME OR COMPANY] ("we") about Korean Flipper: the web app, the Chrome extension and related services. By using Korean Flipper you agree to them. Questions: [CONTACT EMAIL].

The service

Korean Flipper offers free flashcards, including importing decks you export from Anki, and a paid immersion feature that shows Korean words you know on websites you visit. Your data is stored in your own Google Drive as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to consent in your country.

Free and paid plans

Your content

Decks and cards you import or create stay yours. Only import material you have the right to use. Shared Anki decks often come with their own license terms.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, get around plan limits, or access other people's data. The extension changes how pages look on your own screen only; you're responsible for following the terms of the sites you use it on.

Third parties

Korean Flipper relies on Google for sign-in and storage. Anki is a trademark of its respective owners; Korean Flipper is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anki, AnkiWeb, AnkiDroid or AnkiMobile.

No warranty

Korean Flipper is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable and your data safe, but we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own backups of decks that matter to you (your original Anki collection is never changed by Korean Flipper).

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can stop using Korean Flipper at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice; your cards remain in your Google Drive.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION].
